Ground floor: entrance hall with spacious wardrobes to ensure order even during an extended stay of a large group of people. An open dining room of 24 square meters with a fireplace and a table seating 12 people. Joint meals in a nice atmosphere are a basis of good rest.
An open, bright kitchen with a view onto the valley and beautiful light of setting sun, where preparation of meals is a sheer pleasure. Fully equipped with plenty of space: freedom and comfort (electric stove with four burners, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffeemaker and a deep fryer), bathroom, toilet.

On the floor: an open mansard drawing room of 17 square meters: an ideal place for evening meetings. Television (satellite television with a flat screen TV set), radio and DVD player. Direct access to the terrace. 2 mansard rooms of 9 square meters each; every room with a double bed (160 cm). Shower, toilet.

Zawoja lies at the foot of Babia Góra Mount (1,725 m) by the Skawica River. It is a well known tourist and recreation destination and constitutes a starting point for trekking in the area of Babia Góra Mount, the Polica and Jałowiec mountain ranges. The registered office of the Babia Góra National Park is located in the village. Zawoja is one of the longest villages in Poland; it is approx. 18 km long. The village of Zawoja and the village of Skawica are located in the Skawica valley, where waters from the Babia Góra area flow to the Skawa River; both villages were established as a result of settlers’ elbowing their way in the primeval Carpathian forest.

Zawoja: the largest village in Poland with respect to the surface area, located in the Małopolska Province in the Suski Poviat in Zawoja commune.
The first information about Skawica as an existing village dates back to 1593. For a long time, the villages of Zawoja and Skawica were treated as one and called Skawica. For the entire period of Old Poland, the villages belonged to the Lanckorona Starosty and were ruled by subsequent lessees of the royal lands.

Several ski stations are located in Zawoja. The most famous is the Mosorny Groń centre which offers a funicular with four-person gondolas and a ski route with a FIS license for organizing domestic and international ski competitions. The great attraction is Babia Góra Mount (Slovakian: Babia Hora, Hungarian: Babia gura, German: Teufelspitze i.e. Devil’s Mount) – a mountain massif in the range of Babia Góra of Beskid Żywiecki in the Beskidy Zachodnie Mountains, which reaches the height of 1,725 meters above sea level. This is the highest peak of the entire Beskidy Zachodnie Mountains and is included in the Crown of Polish Mountains.

The borders of Babia Góra Mount are delimited from the west by Przełęcz Jałowiecka (Jałowiecka Pass) (1,017 meters above sea level), on the east by Przełęcz Lipnicka (Lipnicka Pass) (commonly known as Krowiarki, 1,010 meters above sea level). Orava stretches in the south and on the north, the massif descends sharply to the Skawica valley.
Within the Babia Góra massif, it is possible to distinguish several culminations:
- Babia Góra (also known as Diablak: 1,725 meters above sea level),
- Mała Babia Góra (also known as Cyl: 1,517 meters above sea level),
- Sokolica (1,367 meters above sea level),
- Gówniak (1,619 meters above sea level) and
- Kępa (1,521 meters above sea level).
 
Within one-hour ride from Villa Sonia:
Kraków: the magical city: history, culture, art, monuments and 1000 pubs, Kraków’s Kazimierz district, Zakopane, Oświęcim;
Complex of thermal pools in Oravice. This is an excellent place for resting after an intense day on the ski slope and regenerating for the next day.

May Day picnic in Zawoja
An event organized since 2003 with performances by folk ensembles, accompanied by games for children and a festival for adults. The event is organized during the long May weekend.
 
Babia Góra Fair
The event is organized in relation to a parish kermis which takes place in Zawoja Centrum 2 in August. The event is accompanied by an organic fair and performances of bands and a party under the stars.
 
Summer in Zawoja (Wakacyjna Zawoja)
A cycle of tourist, recreational and cultural events organized since 1991 and addressed to commune inhabitants and visiting guests. In the summer offer of Zawoja, we can find such events as the “Night of Kupała and the Glowworms”, which takes place at Przysłop; Blues & Country picnic at Diablak and the above-mentioned Babia Góra Fair and Commune Harvest Festival in Skawica.
 
Rally along the Trail of Cardinal Karol Wojtyła
The rally takes place on September 9 on the date commemorating the last mountain trip of Karol Wojtyła before his election as Pope.
 
Babia Góra Autumn
One of the greatest cyclical folk events in Małopolska (2nd half of September). The most distinguishing feature of the event is “Redyk” that inaugurates it in autumn, followed by a review of shepherds’ customs and rituals. There is a division of the flock and settlement between the head shepherd and the farmer. Subsequently, the next two days are filled with performances of folk bands. A fair of folk art and artistic handicraft, exhibitions and a trade and food kermis are also organized as a part of the Babia Góra Autumn. The event enjoys great interest of the public and mass media. It is the feast of Babia Góra Mountaineers whose traditions derive from shepherds’ culture.

The “Korona Ziemi” Mountain Centre in Zawoja: presentation of geographical, geological and tourist issues in an attractive and engaging form, along with mountain exploration with an emphasis on historical accomplishments of Poles.

The “Korona Ziemi” Mountain Centre is functioning on two dimensions: the physical and tangible one and the virtual one, functioning on the basis of state-of-the-art technology and Internet. The range and the target groups are not limited by time and space. The natural culminating point is the “Korona Ziemi” as a complex of buildings and attractions located in Zawoja – Morgi at the foot of Babia Góra Mount.
